Our Poultry
Blackwell Heritage Farm raises and cares for a variety of different birds. We raise several breeds of chickens, and also care for turkeys and peacocks. Please read further below for additional information.
Chickens
We have several breeds of chickens. They lay an assortment of different sizes and colors of eggs. We recieve blue, white, light brown, and dark brown eggs that vary in size from small to extra large. Our chickens are handled very often, and in return are very tame. Our flocks of hens are cared for by two small breed roosters and two large breed roosters.
Turkeys
We raise multiple different breeds of turkeys. Turkeys are active foragers and are great for pest control. We are continuing to expand our flock of turkeys. Please contact us for more information. We currently have:

Peacocks
Peacocks are beautiful, hardy creatures that are able to live in a wide range of different climates. They happily roam the farm and do not stray far. Peacocks get along with other birds and do well with chickens. Please contact us in regards to our flock of peacocks.
